So delicious! First time here!!! After seeing commercials I had to try it. It is on my way home from work. After a 12 hour day I was exhausted. I asked the kind man at the drive through to give me his favorite. He said the tenders. They were delicious! So moist and it came with hushpuppies, potatoes salad, and drink. The lady at the check out in drive through was precious too. It was Friday around 3:00 on August 19, 2022. I wish I remembered their names. Awesome customer service and food. I will most definitely be a regular after work. Please find out who they were. Give them praise for me. Because of them I will be back. Went here again for a beach trip. The chicken tenders are the best I ever had! I am telling you that this place is amazing! Awesome costumer service and the BEST chicken tenders we have ever had. Thank you staff (Trever and the other sweet young lady at the window especially) for your kindness, smiles and delicious meals. It was 1:00 on Nov. 22, 2022. Photo attached. I love this place, if you are hungry for some good Bar-B-Q this is your spot. They have a vase variety of food to choose from. The staff always has a smile on their faces. Very little wait time for your food they are prompt in gettin you food to you. A on service and cleanliness. They sell BBQ to go if your like me and that midnight craving hits boom you are well taking care of.
I had dinner with the family there. I bought the two pints of Brunswick stew for 8.99 special and got a side of 12 hushpuppies. Great value all around. I've never had bad service or food at any location.

This Smithfields location was torn down and rebuilt into a very nice restaurant a few years back. I have been to many Smithfields throughout our state. This one is run well. The service and food are always excellent.
They are always friendly here, and the bar b que sandwich value pack is the ticket.
I’m to assume the manager is the one who approached me when I walked up, talked great, nice guy, loved the food. Mr bright was awesome.
Trust me...this is a truly unique, truly *special* experience. The pork bbq here is just unparalleled good. Great. So is EVERYTHING ELSE. I am from Wilmington but lived just outside of Smithfield’s footprint for about a decade. It was what I missed most. It just doesn’t get better than this. This location is rebuilt since I moved away and is nice, clean, well-lit, cavernous, and within walking distance from my house. I like to walk there because of my tendency to eat so much when I’m there. If you’re not local, give this a shot. Really. You won’t be disappointed by
